About Ken

Kenneth J. Albert doesn’t write about love from a distance.

He lived it.

His relationship with Carol began when they were teenagers in Illinois. What started as a young romance eventually became a lifelong partnership filled with family, work, faith, laughter, challenges, and memories.

Throughout their early relationship, Ken and Carol wrote hundreds of letters to each other. Ken kept them for decades, along with the original envelopes.

Those letters became more than old pieces of paper.

They became a doorway back to the beginning.

After losing Carol, Ken began looking at those memories differently. He wanted to preserve the woman he loved and the life they had shared.

That became Old Love Letters in the Bedroom.

Through his writing, Ken invites readers to see love not only as something exciting and romantic, but as something that grows, changes, and deepens over time.

For Ken, true love means caring more about the other person than you do about yourself.
